The Independent Game Rating System was a free game self-rating system introduced by Daniel Kinney in 2005. It was mostly used by independent game developers, particularly for browser-based or electronically distributed games. As of July 2014, the TIGRS website disappeared, hence the form for generating classifications is no longer available and the classification system is considered defunct.
