Action Hi-Tech

Entity Information

Action Hi-Tech, now trading under the name Futuretronics, appears to have had its beginnings selling clone Atari 2600 consoles, and some games, in Australia under the "Hi-Score" brand. These Atari compatible consoles were essentially rebranded Bit Corporation clones of the Atari 2600.

Now trading under the name of Futuretronics, they wholesale and distribute gaming accessories in the Australian market. Earlier versions of their website peg their beginnings in June 1986, while more recent versions contain a tagline, "Playing Harder Since 1979". In reality, company records for their Australian Company Number (006 327 386) indicate that the business was registered in September, 1984.
