Game Master

Console Information

The Game Master was released in 1990 around the time when many companies were making portable consoles, inspired by the Nintendo GameBoy. The Game Master looks like a Sega Game Gear (released in the same year) only it has a black and white screen rather than a colour one.

The system was manufactured by a few different companies and can mostly be found in parts of Europe such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. The companies that manufactured variations of this handheld system were: Hartung, Videojet, Impel, Watara, Virella, Delplay. The most common is the Hartung Game Master. Games for the system come on 40 pin cartridges. There were over 18 games made.
