Tow truck

To access the tow truck, select exhibition mode, then highlight Bobby Labonte's or Kenny Wallace's car on the car selection screen. Hold C and press Up, then Down to turn your vehicle into a tow truck. Additionally, hold A, B and C together and press Start to reset the game. Return to the car selection screen to also turn the last car selected into a tow truck.

Hidden options

To access a hidden options menu that allows various game parameters to be changed, press Start to pause the game, then highlight the "Race Statistics" option and hold L, R and X and press A.

Wide cars

For wide versions of the cars, highlight the "Stereo" option, then hold Z and press B, X, Y, then A and B together. A voice will confirm the code has worked. Begin game play and press Start + A, B and C together to reset. The wide versions of the cars will appear during the next race.

Wire frame track

For a wire frame track, highlight the "Control Setup" option, then hold Z and press A, B, X, then A and Y together. A voice will confirm the code has worked. Begin game play to race on a wire frame track.

Wire frame cars

For wire frame cars, enable the "Wire frame track" code by highlighting the "Control Setup" option, then holding Z and pressing A, B, X, then A and Y together. Then, press Start, A, B and C during game play. Wire frame versions of the cars will appear during the next race.

In-game reset

To reset the game, hold A, B and C and press Start during game play.

Car position and speed

Cars will have different speeds depending on what position you are in.

Car Position	Car Speed
Position 24 to 21	The cars will be very slow and very easy to pass.
Position 20 to 13	The cars will be quicker and harder to pass, but you will be able to tell which cars are very fast and are very slow.
Position 12 to 2	The cars will be competitive and will be at relatively the same speed.
Position 1	A select amount of cars will be very quick and then there will be a huge change in speed for the CPU cars (usually from position 9 to 14). This is most noticeable at Bristol.
