Expert mode

For expert mode, with four credits and more challenging opponents, highlight the "Die Hard Arcade" selection at the title screen, then hold X, Y, Z and B.

Extra credits

For extra credits, play the Deep Scan game. A credit will be earned for the Die Hard portion of the game for every two submarines destroyed. Use the Deep Sea bonus game to earn extra credits by getting high scores. You can gain up to 99 credits using this method.

Hyper Deep Scan

For the Hyper Deep Scan mini-game with more enemy submarines, highlight the "Deep Scan" selection at the title screen, then hold X, Y and Z and press Start. Credits earned in this mode cannot be transferred to the Die Hard portion of the game.

Hyper Deep Scan X

For the Hyper Deep Scan X mini-game, highlight the "Deep Scan" selection at the title screen. Hold X, Y, Z and B and press Start.

Alternative soundtrack

For an alternative soundtrack, highlight the Diehard Arcade selection at the title screen and hold X, Y, and Z, and press Start.

Play as Kris Thompsen in single-player mode

To plau as Kris Thompsen in single-player mode, remove controller 1, then start the game with controller 2.
