If you have unread messages on the Message Board outside Town Hall, a canary will perch on top of the Message Board.

Duplicate items

This trick requires an online connection and access to a friend's town for assistance. Go to your friend's town with the item to be cloned in your pocket. Drop the item to be cloned on the ground, then immediately collect it again. Have your friend save the game session. Drop the same item again. Go to the gate and ask to go home. When Copper (the dog on the right) says "Well then " reset the game or press Home and exit the game. Restart the game and check your pockets. The item should be there and also be duplicated on the ground in your friend's town. Go back to your friend's town and collect the other item or leave it for your friend.
