Mr. Beaks' board

To unlock Mr. Beaks' board get two trophies in gate challenge mode . Press Z at the board selection screen to select it.

NST 1080 Avalanche board

To unlock the NST 1080-A board, get eighteen trophies in gate challenge mode. Press Z at the board selection screen to select it.

Old School board

To unlock the Old School board, get five trophies in gate challenge mode. Press Z at the board selection screen to select it.

Powder Painter board

To unlock the Powder Painter board, get nine trophies in gate challenge mode. Press Z at the board selection screen to select it.

Alternative board designs

To unlock alternative board designs for all characters, get 18 time trial coins. Press L at the board selection screen to select them.

Alternative costumes

To unlock alternative costumes for your character, successfully complete expert mode. Press R at the character select screen to select them. Extreme mode will also be unlocked at this point.

Ghost character

Press C-Stick Down once or twice during game play and your player will become translucent.

Hint: Easy, Expert and Extreme races

For Easy, Expert and Extreme races, unlock the Rocket board by getting trophies on the Gate challenge and use it. This also makes outrunning the avalanche very easy. Just be careful of the board's low balance.

Glitch: Backflips

When you start the level, "Stick With It Advance", hold L and Y together, then hold Away until the snowboarder performs two back flips. Note: This will not work with the rocket board.

Avalanche Challenges

Select "Options" at the main menu, then select the "Enter An Avalanche Code" option and enter one of the following codes to unlock the corresponding Avalanche Challenge. A message will confirm the code has worked.
