Sound test

For a sound test, press II, Select, Up, then Run at the "New Game/Continue" screen.

Level select

For a level select, press Up, Left, Down, Right, then Run at the "New Game/Continue" screen.

View ending sequence

To view the ending sequence, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, then Run at the "New Game/Continue" screen.

Four screen mode

For four screen mode, press Up, Right, Down, Left, then Run at the "New Game/Continue" screen.

Perform killer punch any time

To perform the killer punch any time, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Right, Left, then Run at the "New Game/Continue" screen.

Hard mode

For hard mode, reach Mr. X and allow him defeat to you until you have only three continues remaining. Hold Run and press Select at the "New Game/Continue" screen to reset the game. You will return to the "Continue" screen and it will read "Level 2" at the top.
