Legend Of Zelda, The: Ocarina Of Time
Game Review
This game is also informally known as "Zelda 64" and
"Zelda V".
This game is an absolute masterpiece. I don't believe there has
ever been a game with so much thought put into it that can provoke
such emotions before this one and I don't believe it can be matched
in the future. This is the ultimate game of all time and if you
are going to buy a Nintendo 64 just for one game, this has to be
it. It is such a well-crafted game thanks to the hard work of programmers
and the thoughtful creativity of mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto.
There are so many realistic details in this game that really push
the boundaries of the Nintendo 64's capabilities. The graphics are
some of the best you will ever see on the Nintendo 64, with beautiful,
vast scenery and special effects. Music and sounds have been used
effectively, giving feeling to what is happening in the game, just
like a movie. Music changes as gameplay goes from day to night and
night to day and in different situations. For example, the Hyrule
Field music sounds a little varied at sunrise and sunset or if Link
is in danger, yet is all flows together so smoothly.
If you give the game a chance to get started and you learn to master
the controls, you will find yourself attached to this game, playing
it for weeks, if not months trying to complete it. The game gives
you that determination from it's realism and makes you want to keep
playing because it has been made interesting with plenty of problems
to solve and side-quests to conquer.
It feels so rewarding once you have finished the game. You face
many challenges throughout your quest, each one more difficult than
the last, but you feel yourself growing stronger and more educated
along the way as you follow Link on his journey. Even once you have
finished the game you will want to return to the adventures in Hyrule
all over again and re-experience the rewarding feelings that you
get from playing this game.
