Super Cassette Vision
Console Information
The Super Cassette Vision was released in 1984, originally
made by Epoch and released in Japan. When the system was manufactured
and distributed for Europe (Particularly France), it was done by
ITMC under the name of Yeno.
The system follows the Cassette Vision and Cassette
Vision Junior. There were about 30 games made for the system (and
available in Japan) of which about 17 or so were imported for European
release. The joysticks are hard-wired to the console. The Nintendo
Famicom was a major competitor for the system in Japan and so
the Super Cassette Vision soon left the market because the competition
became too strong.
