Direct ball at specific player

When the ball is in the air, press PAUSE to hold the ball in mid-air. Decide which player you'd like to direct the ball at and hold that direction on the DIRECTIONAL PAD. Then, unpause the game and direct the ball towards that player. This gives you as much time as needed to make a strategic decision.
