When playing with just 1 player and you've just lost your last life, quickly pick up controller 2 to resume playing as player 2.

Unlimited time in treasure room

Start a 2-player game. Allow one player to exit the treasure room. The player remaining inside the treasure room will have an unlimited amount of time to collect the treasure.
