Cheats

Level Select

For a level select, press UP, UP, UP, UP, UP (that's 5 times) after the Aztec Adventure scroll closes on the title screen. Then, press RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT (that's 3 times) after Nino throws money at the other characters. Press LEFT then DOWN after all characters are walking to the left of the title screen. Nino's face will appear next to the Aztec Adventure scroll if the cheat has worked correctly. Use the DIRECTIONAL PAD to select a level number that appears below the face.

Sound Test

For a sound test, press START during game play and you will see a screen with a
rainbow and names, as well as faces of the characters in the
game. Press LEFT, then RIGHT 20 times after the faces appear. Nino's face will appear to the right of the rainbow if the cheat has worked. Use the DIRECTIONAL PAD to change the sound number which appears above the face, then press 1 to play a sound. To resume playing, select sound 00 and press button 2.
